Wishart Sharks Swim Club

📍 Wishart State School Pool — Morella St, Wishart 🔥 Heated Pool ⏱️ Gates open 5:30pm — Racing starts 6:00pm

We have a heated pool and hold club nights on every Friday evening from Term 4 to Term 1 (excluding school holidays). All swimmers — including parents, grandparents and guardians — are welcome.

• Gates open: 5:30pm for free swimming and warm ups for all.
• First race: 6:00pm

Swimmers can participate in races across all four strokes, with events ranging from 25m to 100m.

For very young swimmers, we begin each evening with a special 15m assisted race, where senior swimmers, parents, or older siblings can help children complete the event.

Events

• 15m Assisted Swim (6:00pm)
• 25m, 50m & 100m races (from 6:10pm)
• Seniors available to support new or less‑confident swimmers
• Nights finish around 8:00–8:30pm

👉 Swimmers must nominate for races before each swim club meet. Race nominations close at 5:00pm Fridays. All nominations are completed through SwimTopia.

Every swimmer must wear a swimming cap in the pool.

The Club operates a canteen and BBQ on club nights with hot food (sausages, burgers and chicken stocks), cold drinks, lollies and chips.
